Frame LeftPrior to joining Silhol Law, Emma served as a Career Peer Advisor at Austin College, counseling undergraduate students through resume preparation and career development programming.

She formed part of a select group of students selected to participate in the Dallas Bar Association’s Summer Law Intern Program and interned with the Dallas Independent School District’s Office of Legal Services in 2013. Later, she served at the Equal Justice Center in Dallas as a Community Advocacy Intern, serving as a point of contact for the firm’s clients in matters related to labor, employment, and workplace discrimination.

She currently holds a board position as the Press and Information Officer for the North Texas Dream Team, a grassroots, immigrants’ rights nonprofit in Dallas. Emma is a graduate of the Irma Lerma Rangel Young Woman’s Leadership School, the first public all-girls school in the state of Texas, and formed part of a nationally-recognized League of United Latin American Citizens council for four years.
