Daniel is a third-year student at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law where he is currently a staff editor for the Science and Technology Law Journal at SMU. During his law school studies, he has developed a significant interest in healthcare law.
Daniel worked as a legal intern for Children’s Health System in Dallas, Texas, assisting them with regulatory compliance, provider service agreements, ambulatory surgery center bylaws, telemedicine agreements as well as other day to day operational matters. During his time as an intern, he also assisted with the implementation of a system wide contract management system including system setup and training for corporate staff.
Daniel also previously worked with Thrive Pharmacy Solutions to help implement and improve a new inventory management system. He provided recommendations on the design of an order scheduling system and methodology for medication profiling to identify chronic medications. This methodology included recommendations on the creation of incentives to increase adherence while also remaining compliant with relevant anti-kickback statutes.
