Connie’s practice focuses on health care organizational, transactional, regulatory, compliance, licensing and credentialing, and risk management matters affecting hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physicians, and other health care providers.

With her background as a General Counsel, corporate counsel, attorney in private practice, litigator, health care executive, and registered nurse, Connie provides relevant and practical legal counsel and services to health care organizations and providers, including those related to the multiple federal and state laws that impact the health care industry.

Connie served as the General Counsel and Privacy and Security Officer for AIGB Global, a management services organization providing legal services to healthcare providers in Texas, Arizona, and Georgia. She also served as corporate counsel for United Surgical Partners International, Inc. USPI is a leader in the ambulatory surgery center and short-stay hospital industry in the United States, with an ownership interest in over 200 ambulatory surgery centers and short-stay hospitals. Connie was also in private practice as a litigator in a nationally recognized boutique law firm in Dallas, Texas.

Prior to practicing law, Connie served as the CEO of a management services organization, a hospital, and of a multi-specialty physician group practice. Connie began her career as a registered nurse, and maintains her licensure.
